Great story of a mischievous kid that can't seem to keep himself from getting into trouble. The one thing I had the hardest time with is the fact that he's borderline controlling as opposed to a convincing leader. Word of warning: although the "n" word was commonplace @ the time of this book being written, it doesn't make it easier to read/hear over & over & over (b/c it's used often).

Age recommendation: 14 & over

On a scale of 1 - 10 stars, I give it 8.
