Originally from Toronto, Ontario - Neil Percival Young (born in 1945) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. From his early solo albums and to those with his backing band Crazy Horse, Young has recorded a steady stream of studio and live albums over the years.

A multiple music-award winner - Young has been inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice: as a solo artist in 1995 and in 1997 as a member of Buffalo Springfield. In 2000, Rolling Stone magazine named Young the 34th greatest rock'n'roll artist of all-time.

This "Decade" compilation is a 2-disc set containing 35 tracks in all which were recorded by Young (along with accompanying musicians) primarily in the years between 1966-1976.

This 2 CD set covers pretty much all of his greatest from the days of the Buffalo Springfield all the way to "American Stars and Bars". Young even sneaked in a recording (possibly a demo) of "Love Is A Rose" that would later go on to be recorded by Linda Ronstadt.
