Punk Jazz

The Jaco Pastorius Anthology

Music CD - 2003
Rate this:
This is the most comprehensive Jaco Pastorius retrospective ever released in the United States, with more than two dozen career-spanning tracks by the larger-than-life virtuoso jazz bassist. Includes the Weather Report classic "Birdland" as well as three rarities: the 1968 home demo of "The Chicken"; "Amelia," performed live in 1972 with Wayne Cochran's C.C. Riders; and 1982's "Good Morning, Annya" from the never-finished, often bootlegged Holiday For Pans.
