Criminal attorney Jessica Ford is in the Secret Service's unofficial witness protection program. But winning a high-profile case is not exactly "keeping a low profile." Jess joins her firm's elite defense team, and in her new case, the prosecution's star witness makes revelations involving the son of a U.S. senator. Was the young mother intimidated? Why won't she return Jess's calls?

This was a little hard to get. But I got the point of the book, justice is justice..

The story line was good but I found the leading lady to be rather annoying in the way she constantly argued with the leading man. This was a rare instance where I didn't want to see them end up together because she was such a pain.
