gosh I really like this one, even though there is no really strong material on it, aside from the international single, COMING UP, which his pal John Lennon, thought was 'a good piece of work.' it might be that I can imagine paul singing and playing all the instruments, as he did on the first MCCARTNEY album, way back in '70. Another standout track is NOBODY KNOWS, which, along with TEMPORARY SECRETARY, I played for me mum on a visit to her flat in Santa Clara, California. Peter, my stepfather, was slightly suspicious of this ('are you taking a dig at my wife?'), but I truly meant no ulterior meaning at all. this one was my last visit with her, unfortunately she died in Oregon of a rare brain disease. TMI? ok, disc 2 has the Christmas single, so that could be timely. Also, has the live version of COMING UP, recorded at the Apollo, in Glasgow, Scotland. This charted, as a single, not the released single which can be found on Disc 1.
