I wish had seen this book with my first baby. I struggled with low milk production and had a terrible time the first time around. I read this book in my last month of pregnancy with my second and found it so helpful. This time around I have avoided the problems I had the first time and I have a much better understanding of how breast feeding and milk production work. I definitely recommend to new mamas.

This book offers some of the science behind breastfeeding and claims to help with improving milk supply, but I didn't find it terribly helpful in that regard. It seemed to offer causes and strategies to manage supply problems with supplementation, but it didn't really seem to offer much to me about methods to increase supply.
