Really enjoyed this book.. Good story line, just spicy enough,
Disliked the Fever series. looking forward to the last two Highlander books

Each book in this series is better than the last. The first few were typical historical romance with a touch of fantasy but each book seems to become more interesting, more fantasy, more plot. Easy to see how Karen Marie Moning's mindset evolved to slowly create her fae/mortal worlds which became so central in her fever series. I love to see those glimpses here and there as I loved the fever series. On to the next....
