Solid mystery with a murder, a mobster, and a rough and tumble main character who's good at punching people. Plenty of profanity, and hints of darker violence, but what's on page isn't too bad. A compelling quick read.

A teenage high school dropout searches for his father’s killer in London. Unfortunately, the killer seems to be after him as well, and everything seems connected to a powerful underworld boss. Fantastically paced, believable voice, complex characters. A lot of action (which, for the squeamish, does mean violence). I didn’t like the ending, though. While I don’t like my endings pat, this ending went too far the other direction—senseless things happened and there’s no real resolution, even though we do figure out the mystery. Realistic? Probably. But not what I want from my books.

While I sympathized with the main character, I couldn't finish this book. It was just ... not my thing, I guess. There was a lot of thinking and not a whole lot of action. Though I hear if you get passed the first hundred pages that changes, unfortuantely I only got to page 110 before I decided this was a story I've heard/read plenty of times before.

I thought the book was really good. It kept me in the book and I finished it really quick> it had a very good starting chapter and kept me reading. I would recommend this book to any young adult.
