Callahan, who is catching up after a year spent battling cancer into remission. But en route to the Callahan's summer home their private plane crashes, stranding Anna and T.J. on an uninhabited island. A book to read when you want to think about nothing. Very simple and predictable contest. Good reading on vacation time.

When I was about 1/3 of the way through this book, I wondered if watching paint dry would be more interesting.
The characters were very flat. The storyline was fairly predictable and their May/December relationship inappropriate.
Also, I found both characters to be sort of mindless and under-reactive.
For someone who reads a lot, I would rather have invested the time in a much more captivating book.
To each their own I guess

Beautiful love story, well written. I read the book it 2 days. I would recommend! I was very hesitant because of the subject matter however I am glad I looked beyond that.

Interesting events occurred in this novel to say the least. If you're into 'The Blue Lagoon' then you'll love this. The plot sometimes jumped way ahead into the future, which was a tad annoying and some evens were slightly unrealistic but surprisingly its an addicting book!

I started this book at night and finished it the same day at 4am. Interesting, fun and easy to get into. Also, pretty satisfied with the ending :)

No this book probably isn't going to win any awards for originality or for plot, but I loved it! It kept me interested the whole way through, I read it in one sitting. I fell in love with the characters and I was really invested in what happened to them. So don't go into this expecting a life-changing read and you'll enjoy it for what it is!

I really enjoyed this, please people this is a story, it is made up, so who cares if it is kind of far-fetched! It made a great story and what happened between the two main people was very believable, in fact I don't get how she held out for so long!! laws do not apply on an island!! it is ultimately a love story.

This book does not rate more than 1 star. I give that for the cover. The story is too much like, The Blue Lagoon in so many ways. I recently watched the 1980 re make of that movie, starring Brooke Shield.
I will not other reading, Covet!

Powerfully endearing and engrossing story of survival against harrowing circumstances and from there, a story of true love between two unlikely individuals. I couldn't put it down. I loved it. I am looking forward to a sequel to this book and her next novel.

So ridiculous this book borders on the comical, which is the reason I read it all the way to the end. A farce, but a fun farce to read.
