A succinct and resonating novel that felt more like a collection of short stories than a novel. Fans of language-driven stories will likely find Ghost Moth appealing.

The contrast between Belfast of 1949 and 1969 is interesting, but overall the author played too much on the reader's emotions.

This was a beautifully written book, with characters that came to life with their personalities and human flaws. They are not perfect, but one comes to care deeply about them. The plot had surprising twists, some quite shocking, but still believable. I loved this book, and it will stay with me a long time, especially its poignant ending.
