The Hong Kong police department has been untouchable for years. Until one night the police headquarters receives an anonymous call after a loaded police van, carrying five highly trained officers and equipment, disappears off the grid. Receiving several cryptic phone calls from the hijackers, one officer starts realizing they're aware of every crucial decision they make. But as they execute a planned attack, little do they know they've become unwitting pawns in a bigger, more dangerous game.

Always nice to see the background shots of Hong Kong and this police story is only a little less lustrous. The plotS were intriguing and intense enough, but have trouble following the story in places when the English caption flew past the screen a bit too rapidly.

The story is about the two high ranking police teams in Hong Kong competing with each other. The script is well written. Good action scenes with a lot of tension. A scene with explosion was taken in the busiest street with pedestrians and traffic in Mongkok - Kowloon.
The film was performed by many famous actors including Aaron Kwok, Tony Leung and Andy Lau.

Won many awards including best film and best actor (Tony Ka-fai Leung) in the 32nd Hong Kong Film Awards (2013)

I didn't know it was a Chinese movie when I borrowed it. There is English subtitle so all is good. The whole story is tight and dense and well-plot. The only thing I would complain is the reason behind all these plans and is rather weak. Otherwise it is a good movie.
