This series blew me away! There were so many surprising plot twists, and the concepts were amazing! Definitely would recommend the series even if the ending could be better. I liked how there were no major coincidences. A lot of books like this are like: The people come up with a plan, they carry out the plan, everything goes perfectly and surprise! They also found a hundred dollar bill or something, oh and of course no one died or was majorly injured. With this series, you hang off of every word because you don't know what will happen. The ending was surprising and overall it was a marvelous series. (Also there is another book named Rebel being released sometime).

So, many of you did not like this book. What you didn’t know was that THERE IS ANOTHER BOOK COMING OUT IN THE SERIES!!! REBEL IS SUPPOSED TO BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 1 2019. Champion was still an excellent book with you wanting to read more. It could have ended wayyy worse, she pulled it off pretty well and the ending was still really good. I’m legit wanting to read Rebel. EEKKKK IM SOO EXCITED!!!!

Obviously, anybody who gave this book a 10/10(or anything higher than an 8) did not read the ending. If you read my previous reviews on this series, you will see I gave both Legend and Prodigy and 10/10, and raved about it. And until the end of Champion, I fully planned to give this book a 10/10 as well. Then I read the ending. And it was one of the most CLIQUE and flat out STUPID endings I've ever read in a book. Without getting into spoilers, this ending was only surprising because I didn't expect such a talented author like Marie Lu to end a stellar trilogy in such a way. The buildup to the end was enormous, and as I got closer to the ending, my anticipation grew. "What's going to happen?" I keep asking myself. But nothing ever happened. Lu just threw everything out; all the politics, battle, and strategy, out the window for a "Go to the climax, skip three weeks, and just say you were saved. Readers love that!" mentality. Overall, the first 95% of this book deserves a 10/10, and you should definitely read. However, after the June-Commander "interaction"(word used to reduce spoilers), I strongly suggest you stop reading, and imagine the rest in your head. However, if you want to read the whole thing, then this book completely deserves it's 6/10 and a "Would Not Recommend Reading" review.

Lu's trilogy has been both good and bad. I loved the story. I loved (most) of the characters. I loved the world-building. I loved the twists. I loved the writing. I didn't love the love triangle or the gay relationship.
So, overall the Legend trilogy was good, but it could've been better. It packed a punch of potency and some great messages too. But there were a few things that irritated me, and because of those things I can't completely say that I loved Legend.

I loved this series in general and it kept me busy and on the edge of my seat. There were definitely some surprising plot twists in the story and the series in general. I liked this book but I think it was the worst (but all of them were super good) book of the series. I didn't like the ending that much and was disappointed and sad. However I liked the great resolve not leaving us with that many big questions.

I love this book (and this series) so much. It's one of my absolute favorites, and I love the way the author just weaves everything together. I also am amazed at the way the story tugged at my heartstrings the whole way through the trilogy, right up to the very last word (I don't know how many times I cried reading this). I especially loved the bittersweet ending. It's seamless, the way the plot goes, and I was very interested to see what the outcome of the love triangle would be. So satisfying!

This book is indeed, a Champion in its own right. It was by far the most intense of all three, with the relationships slowly drawing to a point of high altitude. I absolutely loved every page of it, even though I did fly through it in less than 24 hours. I had to show my friend the ending, thereby accidently spoiling a part, but it was worth it for her ability to relate to my pain. Yes, there are lots of books on revolution, change and society, but this series made it interesting. I still love it, although I really wish the whole story was concluded "5 years later rather than 10." It would seem slightly more understandable from my perspective as a teenager. 5/5 stars
