Reluctantly moving to California with her newly blended family, Sarah struggles to adjust to life with her new stepmom and stepbrothers during a family vacation that abruptly ends when they are shipwrecked on a spooky deserted island.

McMillan Palgrave

Sarah Robinson is deeply troubled in the wake of her dad's second marriage. She now has to deal with a new stepmom and two stepbrothers, Marco, who is her age, and Nacho, who's younger. Even though they've all moved from Texas to California to start life as a new, blended family, none of the kids seem remotely happy about it.

Sarah's dad and stepmom then decide to take the whole family on a special vacation in order to break the ice and have everyone get to know one another. They'll fly to Tahiti, charter a boat, and go sailing for a few days. It'll be an adventure, right?

Wrong. Dead wrong.
Shipwreck Island is the first installment in a series from S.A. Bodeen.

This was a very interesting book. I enjoyed reading it and it wasn't that long. It keeps you at the edge of your seat as Sarah, her dad, her step-mom, and two step-brothers go on a cruise and get caught in a storm. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a good book filled with adventure!

This book is the first in a series so it totally leaves you hanging at the end. I did like what i read. It was hard to like the character of Sarah it the first half of the book she was such a brat. Marco was a little bit better.
