Mike, Matthew, and Mary experience immense mountain beauty and small-town culture as they attempt to pedal from Banff, Canada to a small, dusty crossing on the Mexican border in the world's longest mountain bike race, which traverses over 2700 miles. Over the course of a few weeks, they'll climb over 200,000 vertical feet over the Rocky Mountains, experience mental breakdowns, treacherous snow, hellacious blisters, and total fatigue.

The editing is a bit rough around the edges, but it's a great profile of a little-known endurance race and the people who participate in it.

Anyone who has done a long trip, against a lot of adversity, or alone, will relate to this film. It drags a bit and is a bit hard to keep track of all the characters, but the people's attitudes are wonderful to see.
