Add a CommentI tried the "Cuppa Cuppa Sticka" Peach and Blueberry Cobbler as the photo looked so good. It had way too much butter which strangely didn't get mixed into the batter but just sat in the pan with the batter soaking in it. When the cobbler came out of the oven, the butter was still sloshing around. The top of the cobbler looked good, but the batter had a weird chewy texture. I'll stick with the normal cobbler recipe instead.
This is a great baking book, full of basics, but some do have an amazing twist. My favorite recipe, so far, is the gingersnap apple brown betty. It's so easy and so good!
