Couldn't disagree more with the comment below. Anecdotally, I've gotten off all meds for my thyroid, autoimmune, and have even put EBV and Lyme into remission through this protocol. It's interesting that the reviewer accepts some recommendations, but not all. Too "odd" for her perhaps, but that is indicative of a mind still stuck in traditional western medicine mentality. Gargling (essential for rebuilding lost vagal tone which controls essentially our entire body system), coffee enemas (going to assume she's never tried one. so key in detoxing and healthy for the liver), and dry skin brushing (helps stimulate lymph drainage which moves in opposite of gravity but has no "heart" to pump it though) are incredibly therapeutic. Kidney stones can be prevented with a diet like this. And the entire point of the protocol is to allow your body to heal so that psychiatric medicine is not needed. And if you really read it, you would know you don't change a thing with medication for the 1st month. Afterwards you'll know if beginning to taper what you're taking will work for you. If you want to post a review based on facts, please do so. But this is pure opinion and does an incredible disservice to the science evident throughout that supports the recommendations. I do agree about not loving that she sells what she recommends. But that doesn't necessarily negate the validity of the protocol. For those of us who have been on the side of poor health due to chronic illness with no sustainable relief, it's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Need to take this with a grain of salt (or drink a teaspoon in water as the author suggests). But seriously---coffee enemas, gargling and dry skin rubs for depression! I agree sleep, exercise, diet, meditation are so helpful, and that we're over medicated. The suggested diet is another fad, and could be harmful for certain health conditions (e.g. kidney stones). And some folks with serious depression can be at high risk without meds, not so clear cut as she makes out. Off putting that her website is selling her 'recommended' products.
