When Daniel Anderson visits a foster home to drop off donations, he's caught off guard when asked to tell the kids a story. Sensing some needs with the children he is speaking with, Daniel weaves a tale about 13-year-old Billy Stone and his best friend Allie, who uncover a long-lost medallion and wish themselves back in time 200 years. Billy and his friends jump off waterfalls, sneak through caves, and battle their nemesis, Cobra, on an island from which they cannot escape, unless Billy discovers the key to reclaiming the powerful medallion and gains a new understanding of the God who created him giving him real purpose in life. Kids will love this movie because it features children who emerge as the heroes of the story.

My girls ages 3, 5, 7, and 11 loved this movie. Its an intriguing adventure story for children with wonderful messages - for example, God never makes a person by mistake...we each have unfathomable worth and dignity. In terms of a professional production, the movie has a very weak script, incongruencies in plot, campy, stereotypical characters, and low-budget production quality. But the kids didn't see so much of that.
