Entertaining adult movie--dark and twisted but amusing. Seriously impressive acting with a clever screenplay. Remember---this is satire. Real martial arts are nothing like the way they are portrayed in this movie. Enjoy.

What an awful movie. Bad script. Amateurish filmmaking. Not worth my time.

What starts off as quirky comedy quickly becomes dark humor. Loved it! Jesse Eisenberg and his expressions of surprise/alarm were priceless!

Bad. Actually really bad. More stupid than funny.

I have to admit, I didn't watch until the end. It had no entertaining feature for me and I respect martial arts too much.

The problem with this film is it has a plot which totally lacks credibility. Brutality inside a karate dojo. People getting killed and the killers getting away with it. Other than that the acting was good and the pace decent. Worth a watch still.

This movie was in my top 5 movies as the worst I viewed during the past 5 years. It was slow, it had bad acting along with a dumb plot, so I guess it was a hat trick. I wish I had stopped watching it during the three minuets. Save yourself some time and don't take it out of the DVD container.

The best part was the gun salesman, in this sinister parody of martial arts.

Answers the age old question: What if Fight Club and Napoleon Dynamite had a baby? This one was a lot darker and weirder than I expected. That said, there are a lot of laughs to be had if you're willing to go with this movies bizarre tone (this is definitely a love it or hate it kind of movie) and there's a surprisingly deft commentary on toxic masculinity at the film's core.

Today there are thousands of commercialized schools (or dojo) of dubious Karate credentials. This movie is about scenes involving one of such schools. Certainly it's a fiction movie. Sometime it makes fun of human nature, especially of pretentious MASTERs (Sensei). Just relax and enjoy it. Too bad it has briefs nudity scenes and bloody scenes, otherwise kids could watch it like "the Karate Kid".
